ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS

Check Your headlight! Dim headlights or brake lights? It can be an indication of charging malfunction, resistance in the electrical system, loose wires or a severely discharged battery.

Unlike brakes that squeak or an engine that rattles, electrical problems don't always announce themselves in a way that is easy to understand. The electrical system is compromised of several components including the battery, battery cables, alternator, starter, and computer system.

ENGINE REPAIRS

When an engine “dies,” it does not have to be the end of your vehicle. Smart shoppers, like smart motorists, make better decisions when they know all of the options. When a car or truck needs major engine repair, the first response and reaction of many consumers is to buy a new or used vehicle. Sometimes disposing of your current vehicle might make sense, but often it’s simply not necessary, or even the best decision.

If your vehicle is in relatively good shape it makes sense to update it by rebuilding or replacing the engine, rather than replacing the vehicle.

04

CLUTCH REPAIRS

If you are experiencing difficulty in putting your vehicle in gear or are getting a grinding noise going into gear, or if the engine speed rises but the vehicle seems to have a lack of power you may need a clutch.  Clutch replacement service involves removing the driveline and transmission to replace the clutch plate, pressure plate, throw-out bearing and pilot bearing.  The flywheel is also removed and resurfaced on most vehicles or smooth clutch engagement.  Although clutch replacement is a time consuming repair, Concrete Custom Automotive Garage is usually able to perform this service in one day on most vehicles.

05

BRAKE REPAIRS

The caliper squeezes the pads together, creating friction between the pads and the brake rotors. The pads and rotors then work together to stop your car's wheels. When you apply pressure to your brakes and hear a squeak, it's most likely your brake pads warning you they may need to be replaced. Brake maintenance is important in helping ensure the safety of you and your passengers. When you press your brake pedal the brake pads create friction; in turn, the brake rotor disperses heat throughout the vehicle to keep the brakes themselves from overheating. Both are essential to the proper functioning of your braking system.
